BREAKING: Unconfirmed Reports Claim Former Anambra Governor Willie Obiano Has Passed Away in London

Unconfirmed reports emerging late Thursday allege that former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has died in London after complications arising from severe heart failure and urinary cancer.

According to a senior family source who spoke on condition of anonymity, Obiano’s health had been deteriorating for months before his reported sudden collapse.“His health had been declining in the past months, but the final collapse came suddenly. We are devastated,” the source said.

Medical personnel in London were also quoted as saying that the former governor had been in intensive care up until the moment his condition reportedly deteriorated.“He fought till the very last moment,” a hospital insider was cited as saying.

However, as of the time of filing this report, no official statement has been released by Obiano’s family, his political associates, or the Anambra State Government.
