The Niger-Delta Avengers has issued a sterns warning on the Interim Administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme, Maj-Gen Barry Tariye Ndiomu never to arrest any Ijaw son.
Recall, Tarakirivoice reported about a planned protest by the Ex-agitators on the failure of Ndiomu to pay their monthly stipends going over six months.
The group in a communique signed by its leaders planned to invade the nation’s capital by weekend.
In a related development, The presidential Amnesty office had issued a memo stating to arrest any Ex-agitator planning to stage a protest.
“We have been duly notified of the threat to arrest Niger Delta Ex-agitators by Maj.Gen.Barry Tariye Ndiomu, Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme should they carry out their planned protest on the 27th of March 2023. Ndiomu stopped the Ex-agitators stipends for over six months now and still being stubborn about it”
“We, the Niger Delta AVENGERS are fully in support of the planned protest by the Ex-agitators to demand their legitimate right, and we dare Ndiomu to arrest any IJAW SON and live to face the consequences” they noted.
“We still want to remind the President Muhammadu Buhari led federal government of the 14 days ultimatum to Sack Ndiomu for peace to sustain in the region” they added.
