Bold Ambush in Sokoto: Nigerian Army Strike Team Neutralizes 11 Bandits, Foils Planned Attack

In a major operational breakthrough, troops of the 8 Division Nigerian Army/Sector 2 Joint Task Force North West Operation Hadarin Daji executed a swift and decisive ambush against bandits in Sokoto State, neutralizing 11 notorious criminals and recovering a large cache of arms.
The highly tactical strike took place near Kurawa Village in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, a zone recently identified as a hotspot for cross-movement by terror and bandit networks. The precision assault successfully disrupted a planned deadly attack on Tara Village, potentially saving countless civilian lives.
Acting upon credible and timely intelligence, the specially deployed strike unit engaged the bandits in a fierce firefight, forcing the surviving criminals to flee into the wilderness with gunshot wounds.
