“Deadly Delta Kidnap Gang CRUSHED in Daring Security Raid — Killers of Palm Wine Tapper Wiped Out!”

A notorious kidnap gang responsible for a string of violent abductions — including the recent murder of a palm wine tapper in Delta State — has been neutralized in a coordinated security raid led by the Safe City Hydra intelligence team.
The breakthrough follows weeks of pursuit across Edo and Delta States. According to the Safe City Volunteer Foundation, the gang was first tracked from Auchi before fleeing to Ekpoma, then diverting toward Uromi/Ewohimi. They later moved into Igbodo, Delta State, where they abducted a woman and collected ransom. The victim has reportedly identified the attackers
Just last week, the same syndicate kidnapped a man in Emuhu, Delta State, abducted two palm wine tappers, and killed one for failing to pay ransom. They allegedly escaped through Abavo and crossed into Urhonigbe, Edo North, using the railway corridor to evade detection.
Four days ago, Safe City operatives arrived Obiaruku, Delta State, where the Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Possible Ajede, provided full operational backing. He assigned officers from the State Command SACU and two civilian Anti-Cult operatives to join the mission.
Following extensive aerial surveillance and intelligence gathering, security operatives stormed the gang’s hideout earlier today. In the ensuing operation, the kidnappers were neutralized, and an AK-47 rifle and mobile phones were recovered at the scene.
The Safe City Volunteer Foundation issued a statement expressing special appreciation to Hon. Ajede for his “unwavering support and personal commitment,” as well as to Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Senator Monday Okpebholo for ensuring the mobilization of security agencies throughout the manhunt.
The Foundation reaffirmed its pledge to continue assisting community security structures and called on the public for support.
