“FGC Idoani Erupts as Natasha Akpoti Makes History With Largest Alumni Donation Ever!”

Twenty-eight years after graduating as Head Girl of Federal Government College (FGC) Idoani, Ondo State, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has returned to her alma mater with a heart full of gratitude and a package of landmark projects set to redefine the school’s infrastructure.
The distinguished Senator representing Kogi Central announced the projects as part of her commitment to give back to the institution that groomed her into a disciplined leader. The projects, which are slated for completion next year, include:
A 2,000–seat capacity auditorium
A 500–seat multipurpose hall
Ten staff residential quarters
300 solar streetlights
A 50,000-litre solar-powered water system
Making the announcement, Senator Natasha expressed that the gesture was not driven by politics but by appreciation for the values FGC Idoani instilled in her as a young girl in 1997.
> “FGC Idoani nurtured my character, discipline and leadership; thus, giving back to my alma mater isn’t politics, it’s gratitude,” she stated.
The Kogi Central Senator also noted that the forthcoming projects are designed to uplift the learning environment, improve staff welfare, and ensure steady access to clean water and lighting within the school premises.
With a touch of excitement, she rounded off by revealing that her gesture comes just ahead of her 46th birthday.
> “Tomorrow is my 46th birthday, by the way,” she added excitedly.
The monumental donation has been widely hailed as one of the most impactful alumni-driven interventions in the institution’s history, solidifying Senator Natasha’s legacy not only in politics but also in humanitarian leadership.
