“Inikpi Ruth Explodes: ‘Stop Advising Me—Send It to My Opay Instead!’”

By Paul Ebi
Nigerian content creator Inikpi Ruth Achimugu has set social media buzzing after sharing a humorous yet pointed response to an unsolicited comment about her frequent use of AI-generated photos.
In a post titled Day 12 | Post 1 of her ongoing #RiaNovemberChallenge, Inikpi recounted how someone called her to question why she keeps posting AI pictures, asking, “You no dey tire?”
According to her, the remark made her pause briefly — but not for long.
She wrote, “Who exactly is selling audacity in bulk in this country?” expressing disbelief at how people feel entitled to offer advice when they make no contribution to one’s life or craft.
Inikpi added that she already has enough family members and is not in search of a “volunteer board of directors.”Her message was clear: unsolicited advice is unwelcome.
In a final playful jab, she told anyone insisting on advising her to send their counsel directly to her Opay account, signing off with: “Namaste, neighbor.”
The post, laced with humor and attitude, has quickly gained traction online, with many young Nigerians applauding her boldness and relatable sarcasm.
Her challenge, #PostWithRia, continues to attract engagement as she documents daily creative expressions throughout November.
