Kaduna – The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has marked another milestone in its capacity-building efforts with the graduation of three specialised aviation courses at the Air Traffic Services Training Centre, Kaduna, on Friday, 28 November 2025. The event saw the commissioning of new professionals equipped to enhance safety, efficiency, and mission success across Nigeria’s airspace.
The graduating courses—Standard Flight Dispatch Operations Course 1/2025, Air Traffic Control Assistance Course 23/2025, and Base Operations Course 20/2025—are designed to reinforce the backbone of the nation’s aviation command, control, and coordination system
Representing the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, the Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command (AOC ATC), Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Yusuf Dari, described the programmes as pivotal for aviation safety and operational readiness. He commended the graduates for their resilience and discipline throughout the intensive training.
In his address, the CAS urged the new aviation specialists to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, vigilance, integrity, and continuous learning. He emphasized that their skills would directly impact mission outcomes and the protection of lives. The CAS also lauded the instructors and staff of the training centre for maintaining rigorous training standards and consistently producing world-class aviation professionals.
The graduation ceremony concluded with congratulatory remarks to the graduates and acknowledgements to all personnel who contributed to the success of the programmes. The event signifies a decisive step in strengthening Nigeria’s airpower through knowledge, competence, and professionalism.
