The Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) has declared a N2.1 billion profit for the first quarter of 2025.
The group made the declaration in its unaudited financial statement posted on its platform on Wednesday.
The profit was higher than the N1.34 billion posted by the group for the same period in 2024.
NGX also declared N3.56 billion as revenue for the first quarter, 2025, against the N3.485 billion it recorded in the same quarter of 2024.
It also recorded N2.49 billion as Profit Before Tax (PBT) against N2 billion recorded for the same period in 2024.
According to the financial statement, NGX paid N372.9 million as income tax expenses against N675.7 million it recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.
