The Police Command in Lagos State has apprehended a 27-year old man over alleged armed robbery.
The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said in a statement in Lagos on Sunday, that the suspect was apprehended at about 2.00p.m on Friday at the Ketu area of the state.
Hundeyin said that a team of policemen attached to the Ketu Division apprehended the suspect while on a stop and search operation.
He said that a locally-made revolver and four expended cartridges were recovered from him.
The police spokesman further said that substances suspected to be hard drugs were recovered from the suspect.
He said that the suspect was currently in police custody, and that he would be charged to court after investigation.
