Shehu Sani Survives the “Left Turn Dilemma” at African CEO Club Summit

Former senator and social commentator, Shehu Sani, has once again turned an ordinary moment into a comedy classic — this time at the African CEO Club Business Summit.
In a post that has since sent social media into fits of laughter, Sani recounted how he attended the summit seated between two powerful forces: his madam on the right, and the event’s keynote speaker — presumably a captivating woman — far to his left.
“I couldn’t dare turn my neck to the left,” he wrote, “so I had to look straight and just listen.”
The former lawmaker’s tactical decision to maintain a neutral neck position, many say, reflects true marital diplomacy and strategic survival. Witnesses claim he sat so straight that even the event’s security cameras mistook him for part of the stage backdrop.
After the event, Madam reportedly looked at him and said just two words that sealed his fate for the day: “Well done.”
Social media users have since praised Sani’s discipline, calling it “the ultimate test of focus in African marriage politics.”One commenter wrote, “Oga Shehu, you have passed the marital integrity exam with distinction!” while another added, “Even neck movement requires clearance when madam is around.”
As for the senator, he remains unshaken — and, most importantly, still married.
