“Tinubu Regime Blocks Father, But Komi Sowore Plays On: A Tale of Courage, Sacrifice, and Dreams”

By Passman Akpos
In a heart-stirring testament to resilience, Omoyele Sowore today celebrated his son, Komi Sowore, whose passion for soccer burns brighter than the challenges life has thrown at him.
Despite nursing a hand injury, Komi takes to the field with unwavering determination, playing the game he loves, even in the absence of his father. But that absence is no accident. According to Omoyele Sowore, his international passport was surreptitiously seized by the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, allegedly orchestrated through the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, under the pretense of judicial process by Justice Musa S. Liman of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
“The aim,” Sowore asserts, “was to punish a father whose insistence on justice and truth has made him inconvenient to power.”
Yet, in the face of political intimidation, young Komi embodies courage beyond his years. Inspired by Nigeria’s football star Victor Osimhen, Komi plays with relentless focus, discipline, and an unshakable dream: to one day represent Nigeria on the world stage and bring victory home.
Omoyele Sowore’s message is clear: “Go on, Komi. Keep playing. Keep believing.”
In a world where politics can shadow family bonds, Komi Sowore’s determination reminds us all that dreams, discipline, and passion can never be detained.
