Hon Nicholas Akiama Okpai,Leader ,Bomadi Local Govt Legislative House has eulogised Sen. James Manager, senator who represented Delta south Senatorial District in the 9th assembly.
Hon. Nicholas in a statement made available to Tarakirivoice, poured encomium on the out going Senator.
“The longest serving senator from the Niger Delta Region. The only Senator who represented Delta South Senatorial District for 20years and decided to quit the stage to make room for the younger generation to ascend the red chambers. Daddy, I respect and doff my hat for you”
“Having stayed in the red chambers for good twenty years, you never brought any form of embarrassment and disgrace to the good people of Delta South in particular and Delta State in general. For a very short while , we had senators who ended up in gaol. We also had senators who stole national assets to the detriment of our people, thereby incurring the wrath of the electorate. In your 20 years sojourn in the Senate , you had an excellent track record” he noted.
The statement reads in full “Egbaige! The Adodokorou!! The Kurobra Kuro kon one of Niger Delta!!! Owei!!!! The longest serving senator from the Niger Delta Region. The only Senator who represented Delta South Senatorial District for 20years and decided to quit the stage to make room for the younger generation to ascend the red chambers. Daddy, I respect and doff my hat for you. I deem it necessary to re-echo the above appellations on you as the senate had it’s valedictory session to mark her end of the 9th Senate. On behalf of the 9th Legislative House, Bomadi Local Government Council, I wish to say we are proud of you”
