Residents are also urged to properly dispose of refuse, especially debris removed from drains and canals, at approved dumpsites to stop them from being washed back into waterways.

Workers on essential duties are expected to secure official clearance documents from the Authority to enable them move during the restriction hours.

The announcement praised communities across the Yenagoa metropolis for their consistent cooperation, acknowledging notable support from market leaders at Swali, Kpansia, Opolo, Etegwe, and other business hubs who have continued to mobilize traders for active participation.

Corporate organizations were also encouraged to collaborate with the government to maintain a cleaner and healthier environment.

In a firm new directive, the Authority warned that playing football, riding bicycles, or any recreational street activities will no longer be tolerated during the sanitation hours.
