A source who pleaded anonymous revealed to Tarakirivoice that the planned protest by the Ex-militants is connected to the issue the Phase II of the presidential Amnesty Programme is having with the Amnesty office that led them to write a petition against the then Interim Administrator, Maj. Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu to the House Committee on public petition.
Recall, the Phase II Ex-agitators withdraw the matter from the National Assembly base on the instructions of the Current Administrator, Chief Dennis Brutus Otuaro without any written agreement with him, says they withdrew it because of the Love they have for him, thinking that he will not disappoint them.
According to the Source, Dennis Otuaro has refused to settle the matter, he is using one mr Edgar BIU, who is working as a technical special adviser to the Administrator, to discuss with the Phase II leaders in order to delay them and also distract them. Otuaro is not ready to pay the money.
The nationwide protest is scheduled to hold on the first day of October 2024 in all the 36 states and FCT with the theme #End Bad Governance Protest.
