“I Miss Being A Mum” — Regina Daniels Cries Out As Custody Battle Turns Ugly

By Passman Akpos

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken out emotionally over her ongoing separation from her children, accusing their father, former senator Ned Nwoko, of actions she described as troubling, calculated, and deeply painful. In a strongly worded statement circulating on social media, the actress challenged public perceptions that she is “happy,” insisting that no mother can truly be at peace while separated from her children.

According to Regina, her decision to initially walk away from the situation was not out of indifference but a conscious effort to avoid being consumed by pain. However, she alleged that the repeated public exposure of their children by their father was a deliberate attempt to attract attention, raising questions about motive and responsibility. She argued that a public figure with legislative experience would understand the media implications of such actions, suggesting that public engagement may have been prioritized over parental sensitivity.

The actress further alleged that her former partner dismissed her nannies and pressured them into making false claims of violence and alcohol abuse against her in the presence of the children. Regina stated that despite already having custody of the children, he has now filed for full custody, escalating what she described as an aggressive and unnecessary legal battle.

Expressing disbelief at the situation, Regina questioned whether she is truly viewed as a threat, emphasizing her love for motherhood and the pain of being separated from her children. “I may be young, but I am such a mum. I enjoy being a mum and I miss being a mum,” she said, adding defiantly that she will not abandon her children and remains determined to reunite with them.

The actress concluded by stating that this would be her final public comment on the matter, signaling both exhaustion and resolve as the custody dispute continues to attract public attention.
