N100M Or He Dies: Kabba Road Kidnappers Parade Vine Crest Staff In Horror Video

By Passman Akpos

Nigeria woke up to yet another chilling reminder that its highways have become hunting grounds for bloodthirsty bandits, as a horrifying video of a kidnapped school employee, Magaji Adebanjo, has sent shockwaves across the country.

Adebanjo, an employee of Vine Crest College, was abducted by gunmen along the notorious Kabba road in Kogi State while travelling from Iperu to Abuja. What followed was a scene straight out of a nightmare.

In the disturbing video obtained by Tarakirivoice, Adebanjo is seen tied up, drained, trembling, and surrounded by his captors—one of whom presses a gun menacingly to his head as he pleads for mercy.

Beside him lies another victim, struggling to sit upright, his leg visibly injured, unable to stand and clearly in severe distress.

Through tears and desperation, Adebanjo identified himself, recounting how his journey turned into a deadly ambush.

> “My name is Mogaiji Adebanjo… I was kidnapped along the Kabba road… They are demanding N100 million,” he said, barely able to steady his voice.

But the most heart-rending moment came when he begged Nigerians to save him for the sake of the family he may never see again.

> “Please, help me. I don’t want to die. I have a pregnant wife and a four-year-old son… Please help me.”

His abductors are demanding a staggering N100 million ransom, a sum far beyond the reach of the terrified father who now hangs between life and death.

The attack is the latest in the escalating wave of kidnappings terrorising highways across Kogi, Ondo, and other neighbouring states, where armed gangs now operate with reckless impunity, leaving commuters at the mercy of criminal syndicates.

With Adebanjo’s life ticking away under the gun, Nigerians are once again confronted with the haunting reality that no road is safe, no traveller is spared, and no region is untouched by the growing kidnapping epidemic.
