“NDYA Drops Big Praise, Calls Chief Edgar Biu the Backbone of Niger Delta Peace Architecture”

The National Leader of the Niger Delta Youth Assembly (NDYA), Gen. Meshach Ogbona, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Chief Edgar Daniel Biu, praising his exceptional contributions to peace-building and development in the Niger Delta.
In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, Gen. Ogbona described Chief Biu — who serves as Technical Assistant to the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) — as “a pillar of stability, integrity and progress whose leadership continues to shape the region’s future.”
The NDYA leader lauded Chief Biu’s vast experience, noting that his strategic guidance has strengthened the PAP, enhanced coordination among critical stakeholders and reinforced the region’s peace framework.
According to Ogbona, Chief Biu has played a key role in building trust between government authorities, traditional institutions and youth representatives, helping to sustain the PAP mandate and ensure sustained development outcomes.
He further highlighted Chief Biu’s reputation among local and international development partners, stressing that his leadership under the PAP Interim Administrator, High Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has deepened unity and improved stakeholder collaboration across the Niger Delta.
“As Niger Delta sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora celebrate him today, we honour a man whose vision and dedication continue to inspire hope and stability across our region,” Ogbona said.
The NDYA leader also prayed for continued divine blessings, good health, financial upliftment and greater accomplishments for Chief Biu in the years ahead.
