Ned Nwoko Unveils Modern Mini Stadium in Issele-Uku, Says Project Symbolizes Delta North’s Collective Progress

Issele-Uku, Delta State — Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has unveiled a newly completed modern mini stadium in Issele-Uku, describing the project as a testament to the collective progress and development of Delta North Senatorial District.
Speaking during the inauguration, Senator Nwoko said the facility was conceived to inspire the youth, promote healthy competition, and strengthen community spirit across the region.
> “The newly completed modern mini stadium in Issele-Uku is a symbol of our collective progress in Delta North. This project was conceived to inspire our youths, promote healthy competition, and strengthen community spirit,” he stated.
According to the senator, the sporting complex boasts a standard football pitch, a seven-a-side multi-sports arena, dual pavilions, and fully equipped dressing rooms — all designed to create an enabling environment for sports and recreation.
> “For me, every project is about impact — about giving our people access to facilities that uplift, empower, and unite. With this stadium, we are nurturing the next generation of athletes and leaders who will make Delta North proud,” Nwoko added.
He emphasized that the initiative aligns with his broader vision of community-based development, aimed at driving youth empowerment and promoting social cohesion across local communities in Delta North.
