Rabat, Morocco – December 12, 2025 – Speaking on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 3rd General Assembly of the Conference of Speakers and Presidents of African Legislatures (CoSPAL) in Rabat, Nigeria’s parliamentarian Abbas Tajudeen emphasized the crucial role of African lawmakers in shaping the continent’s future.
“Our conversations here in the Kingdom of Morocco carry a simple but powerful truth: Africa’s progress will be shaped not only by the decisions we make in our respective chambers, but by the strength of our collective voice,” Tajudeen told members of the press.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the gathering, Tajudeen reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to taking a leading role in Africa’s legislative development. “I am even more committed to ensuring that Nigeria plays a leading, stabilizing, and visionary role in the legislative advancement of our continent,” he said.
