To every Nigerian, young and old — and to those who claim to lead us:
There comes a time in the life of every nation when silence is betrayal, and complacency is dangerous. That time, fellow Nigerians, is now.
We are witnessing a repeat of the same political dance that has kept our nation in a cycle of underdevelopment and betrayal. In recent months, Governors, lawmakers, and power players have shamelessly moved from one political party to another — most recently into the APC — not out of ideology, principle, or conviction, but out of fear, self-preservation, and personal gain.
What drives these defections? Is it the fear of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu? Is it a desperation to avoid accountability? Or is it the same old hunger for political survival at any cost — including the cost of the Nigerian people?—We must be honest with ourselves: our political class is not loyal to the people. They are loyal only to their pockets, their ambitions, and their alliances.
For too long, we have allowed ourselves to be used, deceived, and divided. Religion has been weaponized. Ethnicity has been exploited. Poverty has been manufactured. All to keep Nigerians too tired, too distracted, or too hopeless to resist. But we must resist. Not with violence or hate — but with wisdom, unity, and courage.
To Every Nigerian:
Let this letter be a mirror. Look into it. Reflect deeply. Are we truly free when our destinies are tied to stomach infrastructure, when we sell our votes for rice or recharge cards, or when we choose silence in the face of injustice?—You cannot outsource your future. Not to the North, not to the South. Not to APC, not to PDP. Your destiny is your responsibility.

Learn about the issues.
Demand transparency.
Refuse to be bought.
Support leaders who serve, not those who steal.
Enough is enough. Nigeria belongs to all of us — not to a few powerful families, not to godfathers, and not to political opportunists jumping ship to remain relevant.
To the Politicians:
You may have forgotten, but the people have not. We remember your promises. We see your mansions while hospitals collapse. We watch your convoys while children sit on the floor in overcrowded classrooms. You think you are untouchable, but no throne lasts forever.
Be warned: Nigerians are watching. This generation is not as docile as the last. The youth are rising. The truth is spreading. The winds of change are blowing.
This country is not your inheritance. It is not your personal business. You were elected to serve, not to rule. And when the people wake up fully — as they surely will — no amount of security, propaganda, or political gymnastics will save those who have betrayed their oath.
A New Nigeria is Possible—But it will not come from Aso Rock. It will come from you, the market woman in Kano, the student in Calabar, the mechanic in Enugu, the teacher in Osogbo, the tech worker in Lagos, the farmer in Benue. You are the hope of this nation.
Let them defect. Let them play their games. But let us build — with vision, with values, and with unbreakable unity.—Nigeria will rise — but only if her people do.With hope and resolve.
