The commander of 8th battalion of Izon Ibe Defense Forces (IIDF), Commander Adaka Boro II has called on the Izon- Ibe Freedom fighters to remain united, stating that the Ijaws should not allow alien to come in between them.

In a chat with our correspondent, the Commander warns the fulani invaders sending threat messages to Ijaw people in Orkodia Zarama through the phones they snatched from innocent Fisher men in their previous attack, that they will meet their wateroo.”I, commander Adaka Boro II is assuring you fulani herders that you will surely meet your Waterloo”.

Recall, recently Suspected herdsmen have attacked Okordia Akumoni community in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, killing one of the leaders, Chief Bob Wilson and injuring a few other persons.

The invasion on Monday night was over a fishing settlement popularly known as “Lake Sam” in the area.

The killing of the deputy village chief however created tension in the community.It was gathered that most of the people injured are said to be fishermen doing their businesses in the area and planting Okra, pepper and other agricultural produce.

The statement reads in part, “First and foremost, I will like to plead with my Izon Ibe brothers,we should not allow anything alien to come in between us as brothers,United we stand divided we fall.

If as a people we’re united who are fulanis to come into our territories to kill and loot our peace loving families? Therefore, I, the commander of 8th( Bn) battalion of (IIDF) Izon Ibe Defense Forces am using this medium to call on all our freedom fighters to unite and be concerned of the safety of our people.

As for the fulani invaders sending threat messages to our people in Orkodia Zarama through the phones you snatched from innocent Fisher men in your previous attack, I, commander Adaka Boro II is assuring you fulani herders that you will surely meet your Waterloo (your end).
