Eid Eil Kabir Celebrations: Bayelsa State Police Command intensifies patrol and surveillance

The Bayelsa State Police Command says it has intensified patrols and surveillance in the State to ensure a hitch free sallah Celebrations.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, stated that the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Mike Okoli h
as “ordered Divisional Police Officers, Tactical Teams and the Marine Department to intensify surveillance and patrols in the State to curtail criminal activities, adding that “they have been charged to provide adequate security coverage of Mosques, Public Parks and Recreation Centres to ensure a hitch free sallah Celebration.
CP Okoli felicitated with the Muslim community in the state on the Eid el Kabir Celebration and also reassured members of the public of adequate security during the Celebrations.
The Command appealed to members of the public to be at alert and to report any suspicious movements in their environments to the nearest police station, other Security agencies or call the Police Control Room Numbers 07034578208, 08075390597 for quick police response.
