Asari Dokubo Dares Trump: “Let Him Come With His Soldiers — They’ll Never Leave Nigeria Alive!”

Former Niger Delta militant leader Mujahid Asari Dokubo has issued a fiery response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat of military action in Nigeria, vowing to resist any foreign intervention.
In a viral video released Monday, Asari blasted Trump, saying:
> “Trump is a lunatic. Let him come with his soldiers — I’m ready to fight America. They will never leave Nigeria alive!”
The outburst follows Trump’s statement last week warning of possible U.S. strikes against Boko Haram strongholds, citing alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
Asari, a longtime critic of Western influence, said Nigerians must defend their sovereignty and warned that any U.S. invasion would face “fierce resistance.”
The Nigerian government has not officially reacted to Asari’s remarks, but analysts say his comments reflect rising nationalist anger over America’s tone and fears of a new diplomatic crisis between Washington and Abuja.
