“Bomadi Braces for Clash of Titans: GCB Alumni Turn Reunion Into a Showdown of Pride, Power and Playful Rivalry”

Preparations for the much-anticipated Government College, Bomadi (GCB) Class of 2001 – 25 Years Reunion, scheduled for 29th December 2025 at the Bomadi Playground, Delta State, have taken an unexpectedly entertaining twist as two classmates—Badoukumor Johnny and Trust Torubin—publicly declared their readiness for a showdown in a light-hearted wrestling contest.
The reunion, billed to unite former students under the theme of “Peace, Unity & Strength,” features activities including an early morning Ogele procession, scholarship awards to two GCB students, and a grand evening celebration. But it is the friendly “wrestling rivalry” that is currently stealing the spotlight among alumni and Bomadi residents.
In a playful message circulated among old students, Badoukumor Johnny announced:
> “I have just received reliable information that Mr. Trust Torubin is my upcoming opponent in this year’s GCB Class of 2001 Reunion wrestling competition… With a record of 20 wrestling matches and no defeats… when it comes to wrestling, we Esuku people don’t take things lightly.”
Not one to back down, Trust Torubin fired back:
> “Bring it on. Do you have my record? I have fought in the land of both the spirit and the physical with no single loss.”
Johnny, astonished at the response, replied with a burst of excitement:
> “Trust Torubin so wowowwwwwwwwww… Trust Torubin owei ooooooooooooo.”
Their exchange quickly caught fire, drawing humorous reactions from other Bomadi natives and alumni. One commenter teased:
> “This man ehn, na so jollof and VDM for do nor be all those their childish act.”
Another added, in support yet lightly mocking tones:
> “You are speaking out of fear, but I still support you ooo.”
Others threw playful jabs:
> “E be like you sef na very lazy person… because na only lazy people dey with you there.”
Through the jokes and friendly taunts, one sentiment remained consistent—excitement for the upcoming reunion.
As one alumnus declared proudly:
> “Students wey form GCB off… we should be proud. If you are a true GCB student, continue from where I stopped!”
With the reunion set to bring together old classmates for camaraderie, community support, and entertainment, all eyes are now on the playful showdown brewing between Johnny and Trust—an epitome of the spirited bond GCB alumni continue to share 25 years after graduation.
