“Even If He Left Your Father, He’s Not Your Enemy — Warri Bishop Drops Life-Changing Spiritual Advice”

......Fathers Will Reconcile, Sons Should Not Inherit Enemies — Bishop Irabor Speaks on Spiritual Loyalty and Wisdom

By Passman Akpos

Warri, Delta State — In a heartfelt teaching this week, Presiding Bishop Irabor of Answer’s Assembly Christian Ministries offered profound guidance on spiritual relationships, reconciliation, and the delicate balance of loyalty between fathers and sons.

Bishop Irabor, speaking from Warri, reminded Christians that reconciliation is a process often beyond the understanding of spiritual children. “Don’t be angry that your spiritual father is relating with the same son you joined him to publicly avoid,” he said. “You have played your role as a very good spiritual son. Your spiritual father has also played his role as a very good Christian. That is the way it ought to be according to scriptures.”

Citing the parable of the prodigal son, Bishop Irabor highlighted that even when an elder child resists reconciliation, a father may still reach out to the wayward son. “Fathers will always reconcile with sons at different levels,” he said. “You are the one that must be wise enough not to inherit enemies on their behalf.”

The bishop shared personal reflections, admitting regret over withdrawing from two helpers out of loyalty to spiritual fathers, only to see that they later reconciled fully. He urged believers to “walk in love with everyone” even when reconciliation seems impossible, emphasizing that “anyone not fighting your father, even if he left your father, is not your father’s enemy.”

Concluding his teaching, Bishop Irabor prayed for divine wisdom for all believers navigating complex spiritual and familial relationships: “The Lord give you understanding.”

The message, delivered with clarity and pastoral insight, has resonated widely with Christians across Warri and beyond, challenging them to exercise patience, love, and discernment in their spiritual walk.
