Delta govt set to arrest youths dressing indecent

The Delta state government said it has begun training some security personnels to enforce the ban on indecent dressing in the state.
Revealing this in a notice, it said the specially trained security operatives “will be going all over the state to monitor and arrest any youth found with indecent dressing”.
The ban is to take effect from Monday, 25th September, 2023 and is applicable to anyone found:
(I)Carrying of dreadlocks
(II) Wearing trousers without belt and showing your pants and boxers
(III)Wearing of bumshorts along the streets of the state
(IV)Wearing of miniskirts or shorts above knee level
(V)Wearing of rugged jeans
(Vi)Wearing clothes without bra and showing your nipples.
Parents and Guardians are advised to caution their children or wards.
