Aviation Industry boosted As PAP Boss receives 4 successful Aviation Trainee

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief Dennis Brutus Otuaro has yesterday received 4 beneficiaries of the PAP Aviation Trainee programme.
The group that is comprised of two pilots who earned their ERJ-145 Type Rating, a qualification for operating Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets. The other two pilots achieved their ATR-72 500 Type Rating, which allows them to fly ATR-72 500 turboprop aircraft.
In a statement made available to Tarakirivoice, Chief Dennis noted, “I received four (4) of the latest beneficiaries of the PAP Aviation Trainee Programme. These individuals recently returned from South Africa, having successfully completed their specialized aviation training at SimAero, a renowned Aviation training institute in Johannesburg.
The group comprised two pilots who earned their ERJ-145 Type Rating, a qualification for operating Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets. The other two pilots achieved their ATR-72 500 Type Rating, which allows them to fly ATR-72 500 turboprop aircraft.
They expressed their sincere gratitude for my encouragement to resume their certification training.
I am incredibly excited that they completed their training programme and obtained their licenses.
These talented young Nigerians are now equipped with high-level skills that will undoubtedly make them valuable assets. They will contribute not only to the growth of the Nigerian aviation industry but also to the expertise of the global aviation sector”.
