The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bayelsa Chapter has congratulated the state governor, Douye Diri for his reelection at the November 11 poll.
The PFN in statement by its state chairman, Pst Dr Tam Seth Eyedoude, stated that it was a victory for church of Christ and the manifestation of the will of Bayelsans.
The Fellowship also assured the governor of its continuous support, while urging him to consolidate on the developmental strides in his second term in office.
“Your landslide victory is indeed a clear manifestation of the will of Bayelsans, as they voted sincerely and freely to appreciate your dogged efforts in infrastructural developments and your peaceful disposition in life.
“Your maturity and administrative dexterity left them with no choice and your victory is a vindication of our Faith as Christians.
“The election was clearly about the light of God therefore, your victory is the victory of the Church of Jesus Christ, the Light of the World.
“Please accept our warm congratulations and our sincere wishes for your success as you prepare to consolidate your Prosperity Agenda with this second term mandate.
“As you embark on the journey into your second term, We wish to assure you and the Prosperity Administration of our continued prayers and collaboration with your Government.
“We look forward to working with you not only to foster closer tie between your Government and the PFN, but also to concert your efforts at developing Bayelsa State,” the statement reads.
