Residents, motorists and passersby of Greenvilla area of Biogbolo in Yenagoa Bayelsa State this morning, were greeted with another shock as a new born baby was dumped at the Greenvilla junction along the Mbiama-Yenagoa road.
While some onlookers rained curses and condemned the dastardly act, some lamented the frequent occurrence, pointing out that this was the third occurrence in the last two weeks.
Our correspondent who visited the scene reports that the remains of the male infant was still with its placenta, presuming to be just a day child.
Our correspondent also reports that the Nigeria police and some officials of the Bayelsa state Ministry of Environment were making consented effort to remove the lifeless body from the scene.
