Breaking: Otuaro call for new scholarship intake as PAP old scholarship beneficiaries stranded on campus, Languish in hunger

The death of Miss Favor Benema Godswill a PAP beneficiary of Business administration , 100 Level student of IGBENEDION UNIVERSITY OKADA, Edo state, is still fresh in the memory of Niger-Deltans. Her death was a sorrowful situation were new intake of the presidential Amnesty programme scholarship scheme led by the current Administrator, Chief Dennis Brutus Otuaro PhD. Since November 2024, students were sent to different Universities across Nigeria without training allowance for over six months, hunger turns the innocent girl to a day prostitute and find herself in the hotel room with a man, where she met her untimely death.
Tarakirivoice reported the death of Miss Favour and the next day the Administrator of the presidential Amnesty programme, Chief Dennis Brutus Otuaro PhD. Paid six months training allowance to some of the Universities across Nigeria, leaving others out and announced that he has cleared six months allowance of all the new intake of the presidential Amnesty programme scholarship students across the country.
Recall our correspondent who investigated the the supposed payment scheme and find out that many students, such as students in Edwin Clark University and others, are still stranded facing the same fate of late Miss Favour in their various schools until now.
In a circle in the media today, The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) has again; officially announced the 2025/2026 Onshore Scholarship Awards for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
The application portal, now live on the official PAP website, is open to eligible candidates from the region who seek to pursue their academic ambitions in Nigeria’s public or private universities and polytechnics.
