CHAN 2025 qualifier: Augustine Eguavoen to name final squad for Ghana clash

Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen is now expected to name a final 25-man squad for the 2025 African Nations Championship, CHAN, qualifier against Ghana after two phases of training camps in Abuja.
Seventy players from the domestic league were assessed during the training sessions.
According to SCORENigeria, the final squad will go into close training camp in Abuja after the Super
Eagles 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda.
The home Eagles will travel to Ghana for the first leg, which is scheduled for between December 20 and 22.
The reverse fixture will hold in Abuja one week later.
Ghana stopped Nigeria from qualifying for the last edition of the CHAN.
The competition is designed for players plying their trade in countries’ domestic leagues.
