Civilian JTF Recovers ammunition from criminals in Rivers state

As the fight against crime and criminality intensifies in the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Govt Area(ONELGA), the National Co-ordinator of Civilian JTF General Nwachukwu Adah and his team has chased out some criminals hanging around the AGIP Gas Plant and recovered one gun and one locally made pistol as well as some ammunition.
Presenting the recovered items to the ONELGA Chairman, Hon Vincent Job, General Adah thanked the Chairman for supporting both the conventional and non-formal security agencies in combating crime in the Area.
He noted the issue of resurgence of cult activities in the area and appealed for concerted effort at nipping it in the bud.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary of the council, Ndu Ajie, said the council boss while receiving the recovered items commended General Nwachukwu Adah and his men for there bravery and urged other security outfits to show same commitment in a bid to fight crime and criminality.
Hon. Job also assured the people of the area of his administration’s commitment at ensuring zero crime rate within the life of his government and beyond.
The Executive Chairman called on investors to take advantage of the peaceful disposition of the local government and invest in it’s economy.
On his part representative of the Director state service (DSS) Uchechukwu Nnabute lauded the Civilian JTF for their gallantry and enjoined them to maintain the tempo .
