Dr. Gentle Emelah Congratulates Newly Appointed Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke

The Honourable Commissioner for Education in Bayelsa State, Dr. Gentle Emelah, has extended warm congratulations to Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke on his appointment as the new Chief of Air Staff (CAS) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Friday,and obtained by Tarakirivoice, Dr. Emelah recalled his recent engagement with the new Air Force Chief during an inspection of the ongoing Air Force Primary School Project in Yenagoa, describing Aneke as a leader of vision and integrity.
> “May I heartily congratulate Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke. Just a few weeks back we were together inspecting the ongoing Air Force Primary School Project here in Yenagoa. Today, you have just been announced by Mr. President as the new Chief of Air Staff of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Dr. Emelah stated.
Dr. Emelah expressed confidence that AVM Aneke would bring his sterling leadership qualities and wealth of experience to bear in his new role, ensuring continued excellence in the Nigerian Air Force.
Until his appointment on Friday, October 24, 2025, AVM Aneke served as the Air Officer Commanding, Mobility Command, headquartered in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
> “I am confident that you will bring your sterling leadership skills to bear in service to our dear nation in your new capacity. Congratulations, Sir!” Dr. Emelah added.
