Lagos, Nigeria — In a fiery social media post that has stirred heated conversations online, Ossai Ovie Success has publicly called out controversial content creator Verydarkblackman, questioning his self-proclaimed dominance over the Nigerian media landscape.
Verydarkblackman, known for his bold opinions and viral online presence, reportedly boasted about “owning the Nigerian media” and claimed to wield more influence “than the Pope himself.” However, Ossai Ovie Success wasn’t having it — especially after referencing the underwhelming performance of an album allegedly released by KokoPee, a close associate of Verydarkblackman.
“You own the media, but your koko released an album which was a heavy flop,” Ossai wrote. “Your influence couldn’t get the album anywhere! KokoPee, who is supposed to be an artist, has joined you to be setting up ring light and doing content creation.”
The statement, signed ©Kosi Ugo, concluded sharply:
> “We are disappointed — Ossai Ovie Success.”
Fans have since flooded social media with mixed reactions. While some sided with Ossai, claiming Verydarkblackman’s influence doesn’t translate into tangible industry success, others defended him, insisting his impact on pop culture remains unmatched.
As of press time, neither Verydarkblackman nor KokoPee has officially responded to the criticism, but given their history of fiery clapbacks, fans are eagerly anticipating a reaction.
