The Executive Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Hon. Onniye Isaac yesterday received a delegation from the Egbemo Angalabiri Christmas Festival and Ibe Award Team, led by its convener, Comr. Timipre Gboluseri, at his office in the council.
The Chairman was honoured with a nomination for the award titled “Leader with Exceptional Perseverance and Upright Virtue” in recognition of his steadfast dedication to integrity, resilience, and exemplary leadership qualities.
Also, The Chairman’s Chief Security Officer, Hon. Paul Ebibokefie, a son of Egbemo Angalabiri Community, was recognized with a personal award.
In a statement that was signed by Hon Isaac Onniye Media team and was made available to Tarakirivoice, Hon. Onniye commended the team for their efforts in organizing such a significant event and pledged his support.

Earlier today, the Executive Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Hon. Onniye Isaac received a delegation from the Egbemo Angalabiri Christmas Festival and Ibe Award Team, led by its convener, Comr. Timipre Gboluseri, at his office in the council.
The visit aimed to formally inform the Chairman about the upcoming Egbemo Angalabiri Christmas Festival and Ibe Award, scheduled to take place from December 27th to 29th, 2024, in Egbemo Angalabiri Community.
Hon. Onniye welcomed the team and expressed his admiration for their initiative to promote the oil-rich community of Egbemo Angalabiri, a key contributor to the economic development of Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State, and Nigeria at large.
He lauded the festival as a platform to enhance tourism and showcase the community’s rich cultural and economic potential.
The Chairman was also honoured with a nomination for the award titled “Leader with Exceptional Perseverance and Upright Virtue” in recognition of his steadfast dedication to integrity, resilience, and exemplary leadership qualities.
Hon. Onniye commended the team for their efforts in organizing such a significant event and pledged his support.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, oil companies, and individuals to ensure the festival’s success. The Chairman further endorsed the event and assured the delegation of his attendance.
The Chairman’s Chief Security Officer, Hon. Paul Ebibokefie, a proud son of Egbemo Angalabiri Community, was also recognized with a personal award during the visit.
The meeting concluded with a group photograph, symbolizing the strong partnership and mutual appreciation between the local government and the event organizers.
