Exclusive:17 years Edwin Clark Cousin’s daughter trafficked to Burkina Faso for forced prostitution—Father cries out

Cousin to the Late Ijaw elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, as cried out for help as his daughter Goodness Francis fuludu 17 years old, has been trafficked to Burkina Faso since April this year for a forced prostitution work.
The father Mr Francis fuludu in an exclusive interview with Tarakirivoice, explained that the daughter is only 17 years old, living with him in his house in Kiagbodo Community of Brutu Local Government Area of Delta state, disappeared suddenly, so he became worried on the whereabouts of his daughter and asked her elder siblings who are currently living in Ughelli still in Delta state, of the whereabouts of their sister that she left the house since April without any trace .
According to Francis, his son Destiny, revealed to him that one Kanuboy Richman, popular known as Kboy in Kiagbodo Community is part of those involved in trafficking the daughter to Burkina Faso for the prostitution work.
He further reiterated that, he went to the Kboy family house in order to report to his father Mr Richman of Kiagbodo Community, on the new developments about his daughter and the involvement of his son Kboy on trafficking his daughter to Burkina Faso for a forced prostitution work.
On getting to the family house of Kboy, the mother of the said K. Boy begins to shout at him (Mr Francis fuludu) ” watin you feet do! Watin you go feet do!!” He responded and explained to the woman that he never remember when last he had issue with her, that he only come to find out what is disturbing him with her husband and only to be confronted by her.
Tarakirivoice contacted the Kboy to find out if he has knowledge of the issue, of which he denied of any involvement, he further send a WhatsApp voice note to our correspondent of a conversation between him and Goodness Francis fuludu the victim of the incident, indicating that he is not part of the people responsible in sending her to Burkina Faso for the forced prostitution.
Tarakirivoice further dig deep and obtained the phone number of the woman that bought the 17 years old Goodness Francis fuludu to Burkina Faso, for the forced prostitution from her brother Destiny Francis fuludu.
Our correspondent checked the number on the true caller which reads “Treasure”, Tarakirivoice try contacting the woman on WhatsApp chat but she blocked the phone line.
In a recent report as obtained by Tarakirivoice “The study that explored the characteristics of child prostitution in a major city in the West African region.
A convenience sample of children in prostitution, specifically girls below age 18 (n = 243), were recruited on 83 prostitution sites identified in Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso.
A survey instrument, consisting of 71 closed-ended question items, was used to explore various variables including profile of children in prostitution, factors of vulnerability to prostitution; prostitution practices, compensations and related issues in child prostitution.
The findings show that most children in prostitution in the city were from Burkina Faso (63%) and Nigeria (30%), two countries that do not share borders.
Most native respondents practiced prostitution for survival and to support their families. In contrast, all the respondents from Nigeria practiced prostitution as victims of international sex trafficking.
An important finding was that 77% of the children in prostitution surveyed were educated. Among the respondents, there were similarities in the major life events that contributed to their situation of prostitution.
These life events include early separation with parents, sexual abuse, foster care, and forced marriage. Implications for policy, practice and research are discusse.
The agonising Father, Mr Francis fuludu, is calling on the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) to come to his Aide to rescue his daughter Miss Goodness Francis fuludu from the hands of this wicked people who has turned his tender daughter to forced prostitution in Burkina Faso.
He begged the Agency to liaise with the Burkina Faso authority for the quick rescue of his daughter and bring those involved to face the law. The father begged for financial assistance to well meaning Nigerians as he has nothing doing currently, which is one of the reasons this wickedness happened under his roof, he disclosed to Tarakirivoice that his wife has left him because of his present condition.
