PAP 100level student: You are not well informed, you want student to die of starvation, tell Otuaro to do the needful — PAP student leader tackle Udengs Eradiri

“Perhaps, Udengs is not well abreast or inform that ever since this 100level students where deployed to the program by the PAP office. They have not been paid their In Training Allowance (ITA) by the office for the past six months. So how do you expect these students to survive in such an environment that is designed for the rich. These students are in private institution ( University)where prices of commodities are way too high and exorbitantly expensive for students to afford. And most of these students came from poor homes, who’s parents can’t even afford three square meal. Talk more of training their children at such an higher institution which school fees runs to millions. So how do you expect these children to survive in such a condition if not for them to source out other means to survive the unfriendly hash economic environment they have found themselves just because they’re in quest for higher education. You want them to die of starvation and stomach ulcer to destroy their intestine simply because they’re privilege delegates”

Recall, Tarakirivoice reported that a Beneficiary of the Presidential Amnesty scholarship programme, Miss Favor Benema Godswill a Business administration , 100 Level student of IGBENEDION UNIVERSITY OKADA, Edo state, was found dead in a hotel room yesterday.
In a press statement made available to Tarakirivoice today, The PAP student leader noted, “One of the major and challenging problems we are having in Ijaw Nation and Niger Delta region, is, leaders, who struggled from the darked shackles and obscurity of poverty, underdevelopment, neglect, rejection to the limelight of influence and affluence, wealth and power. Who have now made themselves demi gods to the Ijaw Nation, deceptive leaders, pretentious voice for the voiceless. That was allegedly murdered by a lecturer whom she accompany to spend a night with at an Hotel. Who’s body was found lifeless and drug to death by the alleged lecturer according to yet to be confirmed report”

According to Engr Udengs ERADIRI in his statement made in his Facebook page. That most of the students under the scholarship program are privileged delegates (students) who didn’t take part or are not direct partakers of the Armed struggle. Who are only benefitting from the struggle of others who fought for it. Claiming that he too sacrificially took part of it but he is not benefitting from the PAP Program.
I want to correct Engr Udengs and remind him maybe he has forgotten so soon what happened during the armed struggle. Those persons he has described as “privileged delegates or beneficiary” of the PAP Program. Are outrightly not a privilege students. As long as the Niger Delta struggle is concerned. Nobody should come on air to declared not claim that he or she are the ones who fought for the struggle. And they’re the ones that has right to benefit from the program. I could vividly remember that my community was attacked more than once by the Nigeria Military (Army,Navy) where late Chief DSP Alamieyeseighe PhD Former Governor of Bayelsa State. Became a mediator between my community and the government.
The Nigeria Army attacked my community in search of Egbesu boys and parodically shoot at my uncle house his roof the Paramount Ruler of my community. And the entire youths and elders of my community flee to the Forest. Before the Egbesu boys came out and over power the Nigeria Military. So if anyone from my community is benefitting from this PAP he or she is not a privilege students. Because directly or indirectly the arm struggle affected every Ijaw man or woman. Cases like this happened in many Ijaw communities during the arm struggle. Some LGA was under siege by the Nigeria Army and Ex Militants. On a frequent confrontation of gun duel.

Engr Udengs what is expected from you as famous Ijaw Nation Leader. Is to hard your voice to the struggle and fading voice of the students community. To advocate for the PAP Office under the watch of High Chief Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro Administrator of PAP. To swing into action and tackle the issues affecting the students community. By creating a right communication channel through the office of the Head of Education Unit. That will enable the students community have the desired justice they’re demanding over the deceased of Miss Favour Belema Godswill. For it not to escalate into full blown protest from the students community national leadership and students community against the University management of Igbenidion University Okada Edo State.
You’re busy condemning the students community and making reckless and misguided utterances in a bid to gain cheap attention from the PAP. Its really a pity and shameful that you will allow yourself to stoop so low that your voice is no longer useful for the demand of justice of Ijaw Youths but rather voice of condemnation against in little efforts put in place by Ijaw Youth in quest for justice and better representation.
