In a bit to revive, preserve and promote the Ijaw cultural value, the Imomotimi Ijaw Foundation has announced its contest tagged “Imomotimi Ijaw Dance.”
The event which is aimed at promoting and showcasing the popular Ijaw dance, would draw participants from all the Niger Delta states, including Lagos, is slated for October 26, 2024, in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.
In a notice, the foundation urged interested participants to pick up audition forms at designated points in Yenagoa.
Winners are expected to go home with N3,500,000 and other consolation prizes.
Contestants are also expected to be aged 10-40years.
