Again Ex-agitators calls for sack of Ndiomu, set to invade Nation’s Capital
The Coalition of Niger-Delta Ex-agitators as called on President Muhammadu Buhari, for the immediate sack of the Interim Administrator of the Niger-Delta presidential Amnesty program, Maj-Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu.
In a communique made available to Tarakirivoice this morning, by Ex-agitators across the Niger-Delta states of phase 1,2 and 3 of the Niger-Delta presidential Amnesty program, signed by Gen. Paul Johnson Chairman phase 2 Bayelsa State, Solomon Adu Chairman phase 2 Delta state, and others.
The group demands for the immediate sack and replacement of the current Interim Administrator, Maj-Gen Barry Tariye Ndiomu from the presidential Amnesty program.
Recall, Tarakirivoice reported about the failure of Ndiomu to pay the stipend of over 7,000 delegates going to over six months.
The statement reads in part, ” Ndiomu is an enemy to the Niger-Delta, he has succeeded in causing a division among us, making us wanting to fight ourselves, using our monies to bribe some notable stakeholders in the Niger-Delta to sing his praise, even some traditional rulers in the Niger-Delta”
” In a recent publication in an online media, wereThe President of the INC, Prof. Benjamin Okaba, The National Spokesman of the IYC, Ebilade Ekerefe, Kio-Briggs hail Ndiomu on floating cooperatives to empower Ex-agitators. If we may ask; who are these Ex-agitators that will be empowered by Ndiomu through these white-elephant schemes? Is it the ones he refuse to pay their monthly stipends going to over six months? he his a joker” the group added.
“Barry Ndiomu should know that the presidential Amnesty program was solely established to cater for the Ex-agitators, doing otherwise by leaving out some of the Ex-agitators is for the detriment of the Nigeria state as a whole and the Niger-Delta in particular. Over seven thousand person can cause an havoc any where, not to talk of we the Ex-agitators”
” We call on Timipre Sylva to have a rethink on picking Ndiomu as a running mate for the forth coming Gubernatorial Election in Bayelsa state later this year, it will be effort in futility, we shall make sure his ambition will be met with strong resistance. Sylva should pick another running mate to better his chances of electioneering victory. Don’t say we did not warn you” the group stressed.
“Ndiomu is a fruadstar, corrupt deadwood retired military officer, whose ambition is always self, not minding the negative effect it will cause to others as far as it satisfied him. Of what benefit is Ndiomu to the Ex-agitators in this his six months in office, all our experiences were pains and anguish that he has caused us”
” By this weekend we shall be coming to occupy the presidential Amnesty office in Abuja, we shall be there until all our over six months stipends paid and Ndiomu sacked before we will leave that office” they disclosed.
They further stressed that, Maj-Gen. Barry Ndiomu is a manipulator, he has succeeded in forming fake organizations, one of such is the Niger Delta Peace Advocates (NDPA) these are Ndiomu’s brain child that he is using to counter any media statement that criticises his uneven leadership roles as the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program.
“We are coming to occupy the Amnesty office by this weekend, let all the groups make sure they are present in that office to tell us they own the Amnesty office more than us. faceless leaders claiming to be Ex-agitators using our names to work against us, we are coming for you, this weekend” they added.
