A shocking revelation has emerged from Obontoru in Ese-Odo LGA as community advocate, Etufagha Earlier Idepe, sounded a blistering alarm over the horrifying decay of educational and health infrastructure in the region after his humanitarian visit.
Speaking with deep emotion, Etufagha described the conditions at L.A. Primary School, Opugbini, Obontoru as nothing short of a national disgrace.
> “Children are learning in buildings without roofs, without chairs, without classrooms that can even protect them from the sun or rain,” he lamented.
The heartbreaking reality doesn’t end there—according to him, a single teacher handles every class from Primary One to Six, a situation that would shock any conscience in a country that boasts of billions in annual education budgets.

The Primary Health Care Centre in Obontoru, which stands as the only medical hope for scores of villagers, is in near-collapse, struggling against total abandonment.
> “Why has government abandoned these communities?” Etufagha demanded with fiery outrage.“How can Arogbo still have no power, no bridge and no basic public infrastructure in this age?”
He vowed to offer personal support “in the little way” he can but declared emphatically that “one individual cannot do what a government should do.”
Etufagha vowed to keep visiting forgotten villages across Ese Odo, Ilaje, Irele, Okitipupa and beyond, determined to expose the “cruel neglect” of communities that seem erased from government memory.
And in a powerful closing remark, he made it clear—this is not politics, this is a wake-up call to the conscience of our leaders and the world.
