“We Know stomach Activism, Otuaro is working Hard to reposition PAP”-IDM Tells PND

A foremost Niger Delta group, operating under the auspices of Ijaw Defenders Mandate (IDM) has lampooned Project Niger Delta for attacking the President of Ijaw National Congress (INC), Prof. Benjamin Ogele Okaba for visiting the Administrator, Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dennis Otuaro PhD. Described them as stomach activist.

This was contained in a statement signed and made available to Tarakirivoice by Comr. Igbanwei Solomon, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ijaw Defenders Mandate (IDM) while reacting to a statement credited to one Princewill Timipre Ebebi, Executive Director/Coordinator, Project Niger Delta.

The Ijaw Defenders Mandate had particularly described those attacking the Administrator, Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) as real enemies of Ijaw nation, stressing that the INC President, Prof. Benjamin Ogele Okaba has not done anything wrong for any right thinking person to attack on the media over a mere visit to a doing well PAP Administrator, IDM noted that unless such group of persons are demented and are not in tune with current realities that is when they will attack Otuaro and President Okaba.

However, IDM noted that the group Project Niger Delta is not known in Ijaw and even Niger Delta hence do not have the impetus and moral right to speak on Ijaw issues.

Solomon Igbanwei had particularly charged the Administrator Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Dennis Otuaro not to be distracted by the antics of those that have sworn never to see Niger Delta, Ijaw nation and her leaders progress.

Speaking further, the Ijaw Defenders Mandate (IDM) asserted that the few months in office by the Administrator, Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dennis Otuaro PhD had redefined the programme to its original set goals.

According to the group, blackmailing Otuaro as PAP Administrator will not work as Niger Delta, Ijaw people and the presidency is wise enough to decipher stomach activism and agitation. Otuaro is no doubt repositioning PAP like never before for the benefit of all.

Considering Otuaro’s achievements so far within the last few months, it is only someone or group of persons from the moon that will still think ill of Otuaro and will make out issues for a mere solidarity visit by our father, President Ijaw National Congress (INC), Prof. Benjamin Ogele Okaba.

Meanwhile, the group had warned blackmailers and enemies of the Niger Delta region and Ijaw nation to keep clear from Otuaro, stressing that Otuaro is already making Ijaw nation proud and everyone is happy with him.
