Late Amayanabo of Kalabari worked selflessly for his people – Arase

The chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Solomon Arase, has said that the late Amanyanabo of Kalabari kingdom, King TJT Princewill, Amachree XI worked selflessly for the uplift of his people.

Arase, a retired Inspector General of Police, spoke when the burial committee of the late monarch led by the only son of the late king, Prince Tonye Princewill, visited him in Abuja.

He, however, assured of adequate security ahead of the burial of the late King of the Kalabari Kingdom.

Arase, who confirmed his attendance at the burial, also promised to do the needful and ensure that there would be adequate security during the ceremonies of the burial.

He further stated: “He carried himself well and gave selfless Service to the people of the Niger Delta.”

Speaking earlier, Prince Tonye Princewill requested Arase’s assistance in ensuring adequate security during the ceremony.

The high-powered delegation of eminent indigenes of Kalabari Kingdom in Rivers state also included Pastor Tonye Patrick Cole; Opunabo Inko-Tariah; Chief Dr. David Briggs, and His Royal Highness Dr. Diamond Enoch Tobrin-West.

Others were His Highness Anabs Sara-Igbe and Mrs. Chinwe Ezeanya.
