Lokpobiri, Lyon suspension, Hungry Politicians Seeking Attention -Ex-militants blast Mitin, Others

A leading Niger-Delta Ex-militants and a Chieftain in the All Progressives Congress, Gen. Gita Biriala has berated Mitin Eniekenemi Senator, for the suspension leveled against the Minister of Petroleum Resource, Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, noting that the suspension is born out of attention seekers and Hunger.
Gita in a statement made available to Tarakirivoice today, noted that , “Mitin acted base on the prevailing Economic hardship and it is said that, an Hungry man is an angry man. his hunger striken nature, pushed him to take up this unfortunate job”
“Mitin would have directed is attention seeking, in the right direction not in this manner of collecting money from some wicked politician to suspend a prominent member of the party”
“One thing that have kept the Ijaw political leaders backward is this pull down syndrome, if your brother is doing well, let us try and encourage him not by trying to pull him down”
Recall, the All Progressives Congress has suspended the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and the party’s 2019 governorship candidate in Bayelsa State, David Lyon, for alleged anti-party activities.
The suspension extends to the state Commissioner for Power, Kharim Kumoko, Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Peres Biewari, former APC state chairman, Mr Jothan Amos, an ex-officio member of the National Executive Council, Godbless Diriwari and Southern Ijaw APC Youth Leader, Sabi Morgan.
A party stakeholder and APC Chairman, Ward 3 Southern Ijaw, Omiebi Fuoebi, including all ward executive members as well as the APC Ward 4 Southern Ijaw, Mr Claudius Odobu and all the ward executive members, were all suspended by the party.
Briefing journalists separately on Friday in Yenagoa, the state capital, the Chairman of APC in Ekeremor Local Government Area, Mitin Eniekenemi Senator, flanked by the local government executive members, handed Lokpobiri and Kumoko indefinite suspension.
The Ex-militant noted, “I pity some people, like the so called Mitin Eniekenemi Senator who led the press conference to suspend his own brother, forgetting that in the history of the Leadership of the Ministry of petroleum resources ,Daniel Etete has ones hold the office, who is from Kolokuma/Opokuma, Edmund Daukoru, from Nembe, Mrs Allison Madueke from Yenagoa, and the wicked Chief Timipre Sylva from Brass Local government area. We didn’t hear anything, noise from those local government; not to talk of organizing a Press Conference against their own.
But today, you are in support of one Press conference, following those who are enemies of progress from the pit of hell, that has not impacted any life in their families, trying to suspend a minister, who has impacted his people and a pillar in the party.
“Lyon is another leader who is youth friendly and that’s one of the reasons why he won the 2019 election that was upturned by the supreme Court’
“Up until now, people are very ready to work for him, if not of the personality like Timipre Sylva,who is always bent on destroying people to pave way for himself”.
Gita called on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to immediately call those behind the suspension to order, and reverse all suspension leveled against Lokpobiri, Lyon and Others.
