APC Chieftain urge party members to stick with Sylva-led leadership in the state

The Deputy Minority Leader and Member Representing Ekeremor Constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Wilson Dauyegha, has called on members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State to stick with the leadership of the Minister of Petroleum (state), Timipre Sylva and the Chairman of the State Working Executives of the Party, Engr. Alabo Martins.
Dauyegha who is the leader of the party in Bayelsa West dismissed insinuations that there is a factional State Executives in the party, noting that the duo of Bar. Jothan Amos and Alabo Martin’s remain the authentic Chairman and Secretary respectively of the party, adding that those parading themselves as the new Executives of the party are suspended members and are only doing so to unsettle the party ahead of the coming general elections and should be ignored.
The lawmaker, therefore, urged all party faithfuls to stick with the Timipre Sylva-led APC, describing the allegations that the party leader sold the last Governorship election to the PDP as “absurdity” adding that “Sylva has always led the party to victory on all fronts and he is not the Supreme Court that will deliver judgement against his own party.”
Hon. Dauyegha, however, called on those misleading the public and their sponsors to tender an apology to the leader of the party or remain suspended, pointing out that the leader has done enough for the party and he is still focused on keeping the party formidable at all levels in the state.
