Former coordinators of the group known as Rescue Mission, in the eight Local Government Area of Bayelsa, has congratulated Senator Heineken Lokpobiri on his appointment as Minister of State , Petroleum,Oil, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group in the congratulatory message, described the appointment as apt and well-deserving.
In a statement sent to our correspondent, they said their conviction is that the Minister will leverage on his skills and expertise to advance the growth of the ministry and contribute towards a progressive and prosperous Nigeria.
They described Senator Lokpobiri as a round peg in a round hole, being an indigene of Bayelsa State, one who is aware of the peculiarities of the region.
The group also boasted of its certainty that the Minister will fulfill the obligations of his office as Minister to the best of his ability and by extension, bring pride to the State.
They also congratulated a member of the forum HRM King Boloyi Sufadoh Embareba V, Pere of Kabowei Kingdom on his recent ascension to the throne and successful coronation ceremony.
The forum expressed joy while reaffirming their trust in the new king to lead the good people of Kabowei Kingdom.
