PAP: Your divide and rule tactics will never work in phase II- Ex-agitators tells Ndiomu

The leadership of the Coalition of the Niger-Delta Ex-agitators of the presidential Amnesty Programme, phase II, has caution the divide and rule tactics of Maj.Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu led Leadership of the Amnesty Programme.
In a telephone call by the leadership of phase II National Chairman, Gen. Aso Tambo, Bayelsa State Chairman, Gen. Paul Johnson and Delta State Chairman, Gen. Solomon Adu.
They condemned in strong term the failed leadership style of the Interim Administrator, Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu of the presidential Amnesty Programme.
Tarakirivoice learnt that some self acclaimed Ex-agitators at the early hours of Friday with a poorly scripted publication in an online news outlet, singing the praises of Ndiomu, pouring out encomium on him, tagging themselves as the National leaders of phase II.
Aso Tambo noted that Ndiomu should be careful on how he (Ndiomu) tend to manipulate the phase II Ex-agitators’ Leadership. “The phase II of the presidential Amnesty Programme is perculliar and different from any other phases”
Tarakirivoice also learnt that in a recent publication by the leadership of phase I of the presidential Amnesty Programme, Bayelsa state chapter, led by its Chairman, Gen. Charles Korubo James, accused Ndiomu of this same divide and rule tactics.
In that publication tagged, “Another Failed Attempt by PAP to infiltrate and Silence the Ex-agitators’ Leadership Forum in Bayelsa State”
“We had declared earlier that a drowning man holds on to anything regardless, which is why we believe Gen. Ndiomu has stoop so low with his divide-and-rule tactics, aimed to plunge us into killing ourselves and disrupting public peace while he holds on to his position as IA of the Presidential Amnesty Programme. marred in incompetence, misappropriation, gross abuse of office playing out his dominant initiative to deliberately distort the peace alliance sustained before his arrival in Presidential Amnesty Office Oct 2022.
It didn’t come to us as surprise when notable figures of our forum, Gen God-gift Ayabowei, made confessional statement during a disciplinary hearing held in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital on Monday 7th Aug 2023, stating how he was contacted by Gen. Barry Ndiomu through his anti-peace agents in the likes of Gen. HENRY BINIDODOGHA aka Gen. Egbema 1, an Ex-militant leader from Edo State and Gen. Nature Kieghe Dumale, another ex-militant leader from Rivers State.
The instructions was for him, (Gen. GOD-Gift Ayabowei) to create a parallel leadership of the forum in Bayelsa State to distort the forum, with what seem like a juicy promise for due recognition, funding and unhindered access to the Interim Administrator, thereby jeopadizing the positive objectives of the Gen. Charles Kurobo James led EXCO in Bayelsa, as they have succeeded with genuine Ex-agitators’ leaderships in other States of the region.
In summery, Gen. Ayabowei added that his primary mandate by Gen. Ndiomu, was for him to counter every raised question about the maladministration of PAP under him especially in the areas of benefits and entitlements due to Ex-agitators’ beside the monthly stipends, which he (Ayabowei) had already demonstrated with a counter publication on 4th August 2023.
In the same vain, Gen. Bull Ebitei Ifiemi and Gen. Gilbert Isobo aka Gen. Tallest, both of the Leadership Forum Bayelsa State were also found culpable of double standard and while both Gen. Ayabowei Godgift and Gen. Bull Ebitei Ifiemi were suspended from the forum for a one year period which is (12 months) period effective from 7th August 2023 to 20th of August 2024, as deem fit by the disciplinary procedure, Gen. Tallest was lucky to get off with a fine and a warning”
Aso Tambo, The National Chairman of phase II reiterated that, the phase II has its own way of installing Leadership, and it is done through Election. So the people who are Elected have the sole responsibility of playing leadership roles, acting as representatives to their fellow leaders in the Amnesty office and any other organizations for the benefit of the group.
” No coordinator or Interim Administrator has the right to select leaders for us, stressing that, the said poorly scripted publication made by Olotu Wanemi, Clement Wodo, Taye Amaebimo Obi, Akatakpo, Goddy Kaduna, Thomas Tenkiri are another victims of Ndiomu’s tactics to manipulate, of which he must have promised them juicy return”
“I pity for this group of people, the money they think Ndiomu is giving to them belongs to them, this is a clear situation of somebody coming into your house, disarmed you and started parading you about in your own house” he noted.
Aso affirms that, “This same Ndiomu that has called IJaw Leaders, ably led by our respected Father, Chief E.K Clark in order to calm the aggrieved leaders to be patient till the 21st day of August 2023 to have a meeting with them to have a lasting solution to the problems bedeviling the presidential Amnesty Programme is now using this tactics. I will not say much, let me wait till that day” he added.
Paul Johnson on his part said, ” my silence is very loud” “we dey wait for the meeting day” Solomon Adu added.
