Tensions have erupted within the family of popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, as her elder brother has publicly accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of allegedly using the police to intimidate and detain their siblings.
In a statement shared on social media, Regina’s brother sounded an alarm over what he described as an “unjust and dangerous” family conflict, calling on the public and security agencies to hold the Delta-born lawmaker responsible should anything happen to them.
> “If anything happens to Regina, Sammy, or Destiny, hold Ned Nwoko responsible. I have never seen a situation where an in-law would sue his wife and her siblings. Is this the best way to handle a family issue? Sammy and my other siblings are currently at Ogombo Police Station, Lekki,” he stated.
The unfolding drama reportedly stems from a domestic disagreement that escalated into a legal confrontation, with sources alleging that Senator Nwoko petitioned the police over undisclosed grievances involving Regina’s siblings.
Attempts to reach Senator Nwoko for comment were unsuccessful as of press time, while the Ogombo Police Station has yet to issue an official statement regarding the reported arrests.
This latest development adds to growing speculation about turmoil within the Nwoko family, with fans of the actress flooding social media platforms to express concern for her wellbeing and that of her siblings.
Regina Daniels, who married the billionaire politician in 2019, has yet to make a public statement on the matter.
Observers have called for restraint and dialogue, urging both parties to resolve their differences privately to prevent further escalation.
