Alhaji Asari Dokubo has accused the minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, Minister of petroleum resources, Heineken Lokpobiri and the President of the Ijaw youths Council, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri as the masterminds of the killing in the Aboluma community in River state during the IYC Election.
Recall,on the 15th of September some Gory images of slaughtered youths emerged at Abuloma, Port Harcourt Capital City after gunshots rocked the elections organised by the Jonathan Lokpobiri -led Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) for the Eastern Zone.
Though some persons claimed that six youths were either shot and killed or cut to death with cutlasses, others said two were confirmed dead while others sustained various degrees of injuries.
The gunshots were said to have rattled the area, forcing residents to run in different directions for safety.
According to a statement by Asari Dokubo, the faces of the butchers of Abuloma community were sponsored by Jonathan Lokpobiri, this is in a bit to cease power through the platform of the Ijaw youths Council in the Eastern Zone by installing a loyal candidate that will Assist the FCT minister to topple the River state Government, that is led by the current Executive Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
According to the Secretary general of the Ijaw Youths council worldwide, Wike is coming through the Minister of petroleum, Heineken Lokpobiri who is a Cousin to the current Council president of the Ijaw youths Council,Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri, a good sum of monies(over seventy million )was given to the council President to make the arrangements to cease the platform of the Eastern Zone of the council to assist Wike achieve his ambition of toppling the Fubara led Administration of River state.
The secretary general and other members of the national council of the Ijaw Youths council called for the suspension of the IYC president, Jonathan Lokpobiri for the ground of peddling falsehood and that is too old or over aged to be the council President of Ijaw youths Council according to the constitution of the council of maximum of 45 years.
