Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the recent reconciliations between key political figures across the country, advising Nigerians to learn valuable lessons from unfolding events.
In a post on his social media handle, Sani wrote:
> “Fubara has reconciled with Wike and Natasha with Akpabio. Check your previous comments and seek forgiveness and make peace with those you abused and insulted on their behalves. And learn some few lessons or repeat that class again.”
The senator’s comment comes amid reports that Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has reconciled with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, following months of political tension between the two. Similarly, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio have reportedly resolved their political differences.
Sani’s statement, laced with satire and moral counsel, is seen as a subtle reminder to political supporters who often engage in online and offline confrontations on behalf of politicians.
Observers note that the former lawmaker has consistently called for restraint and independent thinking among citizens, stressing that political conflicts are often temporary, while relationships among politicians remain fluid.
