PAP: Ndiomu has turned Amnesty Programme to family Business, Converting slots for personal use”- Ex-agitators cries out, calls for general meeting

Again the Niger-Delta Ex-agitators of the presidential Amnesty programme has accused the Interim Administrator, Maj. Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu of converting slots meant for the beneficiaries of the Programme for himself and cronies.
In a statement made available to Tarakirivoice, signed by Bayelsa and Delta State Chairmen, self style Gen. Paul Johnson and Gen. Solomon Adu of the second Phase of the presidential Amnesty programme, respectively.
Accused Ndiomu of double standard, that, the Amnesty office led by Ndiomu has decided that the slots they recovered from BVN linked accounts will be converted to them selves, and also, some will be given to anyone that is in their good book.
Recall, Tarakirivoice has reported the months long battle between the Ex-agitators and Interim Administrator in his inception as the Interim Administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme, as his (Ndiomu) inability to pay the Ex-agitators as a result of some accounts that were linked to multiple BVN.
Tarakirivoice also reported that, as a result of the long lasting battle between the Interim Administrator and the Ex-agitators which has almost caused tension in the Niger-Delta region. Chief Edwin E.K Clark, an Ijaw Elder state man in his Abuja resident, called for a meeting between the Ex-agitators and the Interim Administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme, Maj.Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu.
In the meeting that was covered by our correspondent, Ndiomu had promised to pay the Ex-agitators in order to bring to an end the months long battle between him(Ndiomu) and the Ex-agitators.
In this statement, the Ex-agitators has accused the Interim Administrator, Maj.Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu, that, the Amnesty office led by Ndiomu has decided that the slots they recovered from BVN linked accounts will be converted to himself, and also, some will be given to anyone that is in his good book.
The statement further reiterated that “on the current stance of the Amnesty Office, that, they will not pay all the arrears. With a flimsy explanation that, if you have 10 slots before, and they manage to pay 3 slots, then the remaining 7 slots will not be paid until other S.A takes over from Ndiomu”.
It’s accused the Amnesty office’s staff of collecting monies illegally from some of the leaders to work all account to be paid in full, as its is, they agreed on 30 percent, according to the numbers of linked BVN accounts.
“The Amnesty office is currently, using ICPC, EFCC, DSS, to intimate us, while they continue to collect our monies in the Office and sharing among themselves”. the statement noted.
The statement called on all leaders of Phase II, cut across states of the Niger-Delta for a general meeting on the 4th of December 2023 in Abuja for a lasting solution to the issue affecting them.
It’s further stress that, “the Ndiomu led administration, want to use divide and rule government to destroy the entire Amnesty programme, especially the phase II”
Read the statement in part, “This is to invite all PHASE II Leaders to a general meeting.
This becomes imperative as we have serious issues to discuss especially those with multiple BVN linked accounts.
There are so many complaints from Phase II Leaders in different quarters as regards the above mentioned subject matter and others.
The PHASE II in particular, is currently having relegated position among the committee of PHASES in the affairs of things in the NDIOMU led Amnesty Office.
To this end, the meeting is a must attend for every phase II Leaders across Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Edo, Ondo, A’Bom and among others.
The meeting comprises of 11 points Agendas.These include;
(1) Discussion on the current stance of the Amnesty Office, that, they will not pay all the arrears. With a flimsy explanation that, if you have 10 slots before, and they manage to pay 3 slots, then the remaining 7 slots will not be paid until other S.A takes over from Ndiomu.
(2) The Amnesty office’s continues intimidation and molestation of our two state chairmen, because they refuse to succumb to the uncultured leadership pattern of the Ndiomu led Amnesty Office.
(3) The Amnesty office led by Ndiomu has decided that the slots they recovered from BVN linked accounts will be converted to them selves, and also, some will be given to anyone that is in their good book.
(4) Another Cooperative of five million is going on, but most phase II are not recognized.
(5) Deployment of students is on, but no phase II is among. They secretly deployed 80 students to University without any phase II leader or boy.
(6) The last meeting we had with Elder Edwin Clark, Ndiomu told us that there are some persons he gave slots, all these are our slots. he mentioned, Egbere papa, that he gave him 150 slots, those slots belongs to us.
(7) the Amnesty office staff are collecting Ilegal money from some of our leaders to work all account to be paid in full, as its is, they agreed on 30 percent, according to the numbers of linked BVN accounts.
(8) The Amnesty office is currently, using ICPC, EFCC, DSS, to intimate us, while they continue to collect our monies in the Office and sharing among themselves.
(9)The Amnesty office is collecting our monies through access Bank and first bank, converting same to physical cash, naira to dollar, we have concrete evidence against the Amnesty office and pictures and videos for detailed explanation.
(10) The Ndiomu led administration want to use divide and rule government to destroy the entire Amnesty programme, especially the phase II.
(11) The CSO major Akpos to IA, has left his duty in the Amnesty office as a CSO, his now parading himself as the IA, what ever he says is final, which is unacceptable behaviour to the group.
These and many more that shall be disclosed for discussion in the meeting.
